Mandatory Spring Sports Meeting

The Spring Sports Meeting will be held for all Spring Athletes and Parents who have NOT attended a fall or winter meeting. The meeting will be held in the library at PSHS at 6 PM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Attendance is mandatory for all athletes.If you attended a meeting in the fall or winter, you are not required to attend this session.Parents must attend the meeting as well.There will be paperwork (Statements of Understanding) to sign during the meeting.If you cannot attend, please arrange to make up the meeting with Mrs. Jordan.A sign-in sheet will be available for attendance.We look forward to seeing you there.

PSHS will host the CHSAA Girls Basketball Regional Rounds on March 7th and 8th at PSHS High SchoolPSHS vs Fort Morgan - Friday -3/7/25 @ 5:30 PMLamar vs DSST: Montview -3/7/25 @ 7PM https://chsaanow.com/news/2025/3/1/class-4a-girls-basketball-state-tournament-bracket-2025.aspx Saturday 3/8/25 winners will play at 1PM. ONLY CHSAA and CHSCA passes will be honored at these games. No season passes are accepted. Gate fees are $8 General Admission $5 Students/Seniors. Digital Tickets available on GoFan.

Make sure you are signed up and ‘green to go’ on Student Central Big Teams. This is for track, girls soccer, and baseball.If your physical was declined, you should have received an email through Student Central with specific notes on why it was not accepted and how to correct it. Please take a moment to review that message for details.Please ensure that you have submitted only page 4 of the form and that all required sections are fully completed. This includes:Your name, address, and all personal details are at the top of the page.The doctor’s signature and date of examination.A checkmark indicating that you are medically eligible to participate in sports.Your signature and a parent/guardian’s are at the bottom of the page.If any of these items are missing, that is likely the reason for the rejection. Please make the necessary corrections and resubmit the form.

Basketball Games Rescheduled Against Alamosa

Rescheduled Games PSHS vs AlamosaGames for 2/14/25 have been moved to 2/25/25.JV boys and girls will play in Alamosa at 4PM. Varsity Girls will play at 5:30. C Team boys will also play at 5:30. Varsity boys game time will be at 7PM. Games are played away in Alamosa on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

PSHS sends 7 to CHSAA State Swim

Seven swimmers qualified for the CHSAA Swim Championships this week in Thorton. Asia Gorman, Gianna Schaeffer, Marlowe Hedgecock, Leah Blackman, Grace Cram, Chloe Gantt, and Aubrey Gerdel will represent the Pirates this week, swimming in the medley.

Winter Sports Meeting - MANDATORY

The Winter Sports Meeting will be held in the PSHS Library on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. Student-athletes and Parents must attend to participate in Winter Sports, which include Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Swimming, and Boys' and Girls' Wrestling. Remember that your sports paperwork is needed in Student Central for you to participate in practice beginning November 18th.

Girls' Swimming, Boys' and Girls' Basketball, and Boys' and Girls' Wrestling are all offered as winter sports. These practices officially start November 18th. Wrestling season officially begins November 18, 2024. Open mat starts the week of October 28th. All of the forms needed for a wrestler to begin on November 18th are found in Student Central. A current physical is necessary to participate in wrestling practices. You can find that form on the athletic website under the ‘files and links’ tab.
