Biography:

Coach Taylor is a Colorado native who ran varsity track and cross country for both Loveland High School and Colorado State University. Racing has always been a passion, and he has competed throughout his life. One of his principal coaching goals is to share his enthusiasm for training and competition with all student-athletes, with the aim of motivating each athlete to push their competitive limits; another aim is to promote self-confidence and self-motivation through vigorous physical challenges. As a biological scientist, Dr. Taylor brings in-depth knowledge of the fundamental molecular and physiological aspects that underlie the effective training of endurance athletes. He has resided in Pagosa Springs since 2005 with his wife and three daughter-athletes.
