Sprinters/Throwers

 

Distance:

Monday: Warmup run for 12 minutes. Fartlek, 24 minutes total: 90 seconds base pace, 30 seconds hard surge. Cooldown run for 10 minutes.

 

Tuesday: Easy run 40 minutes. Hip mobility drill of your choice.

 

Wednesday: Warmup run for 12 minutes. Fartlek, 21 minutes total: 2 minutes base pace, 1 minutes surge. Cooldown run for 10 minutes.

 

Thursday: Easy run 40 minutes. 6 x 60 meter strides. Hip mobility drill of your choice.

 

Friday: Long, easy run 60 minutes. 6 x 60 meter accelerations.
